 "This year, as ever, Fall Jam coincides with the fun HONK! Festival.
We will dance with the bands in Davis Square Saturday night and briefly join the parade as it passes during our Sunday lunch."

$75 - Full-time student rate - (also unemployed or severe economic issues)
$90 - Regular rate - Employed, retired, self employed. This is most of us.
$110 - Professional rate.  Please pay this rate if you can.
$125 - Supporting the Arts rate

To Apply: If you are in need, we offer a limited number of applicants $25-off their fee on a first-come-first-served basis. Apply on the registration form.

To Donate: If you have even a little extra, please donate to help your fellow dancers afford to come to CIB events. Donate when you register online.


Work Exchange:  We all pitch in to help these events run smoothly, but we need some dedicated helpers who we know we can count on. Fill in the Work exchange section on the registration form, if interested. You will be contacted by the WEX coordinator. wex@contactimprovboston.com

OUT-OF-TOWNERS:  You are welcome - come one, come all! We can help you with housing here in the homes of local dancers. Please register early and indicate you need housing; we'll work it out for you.

LOCATION:  All the weekend's events, Workshop and Fall Jam take place at: 

Cambridge Masonic Hall, 1950 Mass. Ave, Cambridge, MA (Porter Square)
Right across the street from the Porter Sq stop on the MBTA Red Line.
Park on far side of the lot behind Elephant Walk Restaurant, 2067 Mass Ave (across the street, north 3 blocks)

OVERLAPPING WITH OUR EVENT:  
Lion's Jaw Dance Festival  
Begins Thursday Oct. 6 and ends Monday October 10.  It includes a number of classes Thursday and Friday that might be of interest to contact improvisers, plus evening performances on Friday and Saturday that are open to the public.  You can attend part of Lion's Jaw *AND* the entire Fall Jam. Note that Lion's Jaw is a completely separate event with it's own registration.  For more info: Lionsjaw.com



ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE BIO:

Bradley Teal Ellis is a Brooklyn, New York based dance improviser.  Bradley has studied and practiced Contact Improvisation for 18 years with many teachers across the United States. Currently a faculty member of Movement Research (one of the worlds’ leading laboratories for experimental movement and dance) Bradley also teaches as adjunct faculty at NYU/Tisch - Experimental Theatre Wing and the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College (SUNY).  Bradley has been a guest teacher at Gibney Dance, The New School, University of the Arts, Temple University and recently taught a workshop designed for high school students at Ethical Culture Fieldston School (Bronx, NY).  He has performed improvisation at MoMA PS1, Joyce Soho, 92nd Street Y, Movement Research at the Judson Church, Performa and other institutions.   Bradley frequently collaborates in process and performance with other artists.  Originally from North Carolina, he received a BFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro.



THE FINE PRINT:

Regarding product sales at the Fall Jam:
If you have items of interest to contact improv dancers (generally clothing) that you would like to sell at CIB events, please contact the organizers in advance.  We have limited space available for vendors, and may not be able to say yes to everyone, so it is important you let us know well ahead of time.

Cancelation Policy:
 •   If  we cancel the entire event, we will refund the entire registration fee of pre-registered participants.  If we cancel an event part-way through, we will pro-rate that refund.
•   If a registered participant withdraws from an event more than two weeks before the event, we will fully refund their registration fee, minus a $10 administration fee.
•   If a registered participant withdraws less than two weeks before the event, no refund will be issued.  Also applies to no-shows, (but please let us know you aren't coming so we can plan better.)
•   We will consider hardship situations for refunds before and during the event.  Please contact the registrar.
