ContactImprovBoston's Winter Festival 2010
©B.B. AmesA weekend of Contact Improvisation dance classes and jams with a variety of exciting teachers.
Friday night February 26 through Sunday, February 28, 2010
Two levels: Fundamentals and Mixed Level
Fundamentals classes aren't just for "bare beginners" (although they are welcome to attend!) Having a solid grasp of the fundamentals of the form is essential for safe, enjoyable dancing and can take time to develop. There will be plenty of material in this class to satisfy dancers who are brand new to the form, relatively new, or just want to have "beginner's mind" about the dance.
Mixed level classes are for dancers with more experience, who are ready to explore more challenging skills or deepen their sensitivity.
Basic weekend schedule is listed below. Here's the detailed class descriptions and teacher bios.
