FALLING UP
You have to go down to go up.  Learn how to root, roll, and dig into the Cliffs, Plateaus, buttes, and boulders of our bodies to find that negotiation with gravity that we call flying.  Realize how perfect the Earth's gravitational pull is for doing this form we call Contact Improv. Feel the ground hold you even as you venture up, up, and away. Find new pathways between the earth and the sky.

WHERE:  Arlington Center Location: It's at the Arlington Center yoga studios, 369 Mass. Ave., Arlington.  (Easy free parking on Mass. Ave. and #77 bus from Harvard Sq. drops you off on the block.)

Teacher Bio: Moti Zemelman, MFA, began practicing Contact Improv 26 years ago. Over the past 20 years he has taught and performed across USA, Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Europe and Israel. In 2008-09 he taught as Dance Professor at the Instituto Naciónal de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. Moti has been both a teacher and a board member at Earthdance Retreat Center in Plainfield, MA. He was an original member of Wire Monkey Dance Co., (Holyoke, MA, USA) and is a featured dancer in Sanford Lewis' soon to be released documentary film about CI "An Intimate Dance." As a musician Moti plays vocal-electronic music for Contact Jams and in 2007 released his debut CD, Doorwaves.
