Followed by the usual jam, 8-10pm

Since I got to the US, I find the idea of time and its effects very interesting.
In this class we will investigate: how can we capture time and space, how can we let go of it, and when can we seize it?  We will look for momentum and try to enjoy the ride... We will also learn some sharing weight patterns and techniques.  All skill levels are welcome".

Teacher Bio:  Avital Bar Zuri is a dance movement therapist and a Laban and  Bartenieff movement analyst and therapist. She found Contact Improvisation over 10 years ago and considers herself both a teacher and a student. Avital believes in the healing power of movement to bond and cure as well as to nurture and empower.
Avital recently moved to Boston from Israel where she taught bi-weekly classes at Kibbutz Hannaton, weekends workshops with Michal Shterenbach and led improvisation workshops for teenagers.
