Plan to be available.  Keep flexible.

COSTS and REGISTRATION:

Pay-it-forward Scholarship Fund: At our recent weekend Jam events, Contact Improv Boston initiated a scholarship program to make our events more accessible to those who could not otherwise afford to attend.  We collected (and matched) your contributions and now make those funds available for those who truly need financial support.
For May Jam, we are offering a limited number of applicants, $25-off their fee on a first-come-first-served basis (a 33% discount off the student rate).

To apply for a Scholarship: If you wish to apply and cannot otherwise afford to attend, fill in the appropriate section when you register.

Everyone: When you register, please contribute to the Pay-it-forward Scholarship Fund.  CIB will distribute the funds at future weekend events.

© Abraham Noe-HaysARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE BIO:
Kristin Horrigan has been in love with contact improvisation since 1998, and she has taught and performed CI at festivals, studios, and universities in the USA, Germany, Denmark, Japan, Australia, and Argentina.   At home in southern Vermont, Kristin is a Professor of Dance at Marlboro College and she works as a choreographer for intergenerational and community-based projects.  In her CI teaching and research, Kristin is passionate about cultivating our ability to be interested, preserving the accessibility of CI for people of all abilities, looking at the relationship between composition and play in CI, and exploring the ways gender influences our CI dancing (despite the non-gendered orientation of the form).

Regarding product sales at the May Jam:
If you have items of interest to contact improv dancers (generally clothing) that you would like to sell at CIB events, please contact the organizers in advance.  We have limited space available for vendors, and may not be able to say yes to everyone, so it is important you let us know well ahead of time.

Cancelation Policy:
 •   If the whole event is canceled, we will refund the entire registration fee of pre-registered participants.  If we cancel an event part-way through, we will pro-rate that refund.
•   If a registered participant withdraws from an event more than two weeks before the event, we will fully refund their registration fee, minus a $10 administration fee.
•   If a registered participant withdraws less than two weeks before the event, no refund will be issued.  Also applies to no-show, (but please let us know so we can plan better.)
•   We will consider hardship situations for refunds before and during the event.  Please contact the registrar.

Hope to dance with you soon at...
